Take your pole dancing to the next level: off the ground! The flying pole, or aerial pole, is rigged off the ground for a completely different experience. In this course, we’ll start from the very beginning: you’ll learn the basic mechanics of the aerial pole, how your regular pole skills will transfer to the flying pole, and how this is different from any other aerial apparatus. This course is appropriate for pole students at an intermediate level and higher. You should be comfortable with inverts, leg hangs, and spinning.

Clothing:
The flying poles are coated in silicone, which provides grip with most fabrics. Leggings and long-sleeved, tight-fitting sports clothes are best, but it is also possible to wear short sleeves and shorts (just a bit less comfortable).
Instructor:
Alejandro Bencomo is a circus artist, dancer, and multi-apparatus aerial performer with years of teaching experience. Currently, you can catch him on the stage of Þjóðleikhúskjallarinn in the musical Cabaret!

Flying Pole. Námskeið standa í mislangan tíma og þátttakendur þurfa að kynna sér vel hvort rétt námskeið er valið áður en gengið er frá skráningu. Ekki er hægt að breyta skráningu, færa milli hópa eða tímabila né endurgreiða þegar námskeið er að hefjast eða þegar hafið. Eríal Pole áskilur sér rétt til að fella niður námskeið og staka tíma ef þátttaka telst ekki næg. Vinsamlega kynnið ykkur skilmála Eríal Pole og lýsingu námskeiða áður en gengið er frá skráningu.
