This myofascial release course is all about helping your body move optimally and feel better while doing it. We’ll use fascia balls, foam rollers, and targeted stretches to release tension and improve flexibility. Each class is designed to gently work through tight spots, helping you move with more ease and less discomfort. What is fascia (and why should you care)? Fascia is a web-like connective tissue that surrounds your muscles, joints, and organs. When it gets tight or stuck, it can lead to stiffness, discomfort, and limited movement. By loosening it up, you can improve flexibility, reduce pain, and feel lighter and more open in your body. In recent years, a lot more research has been carried out in sports medicine and general health disciplines into this mysterious web of connective tissue. Muscle pain and tightness, trouble sleeping due to muscle pain, and even general malaise and fatigue can sometimes be attributed to unhealthy fascia.
